Incognitus is always accelerating the ‘say / do’ gap and becoming green focused by identifying barriers to our sustainable choices and lowering our greenhouse emissions. Supporting our endeavour for change, we've partnered with the latest technology, NetaNada. NetNada is an automated carbon accounting and sustainability software that uses AI/ML to analyse, improve, certify and report on businesses sustainability performance and scope 1, 2 & 3 carbon emissions.
Incognitus has already begun the journey to net zero, taking new steps toward a cleaner future. See the changes we've made below.
No more single-use plastic bottles, everyone brings their own drinking bottle to work.
We have reduced unnecessary commute travel, encouraging our team to work from home and car-pool to events and meetings where possible.
We have engaged a green energy supplier to bring cleaner solutions across all projects.
We purchase products made from recycled materials, inclusive of recycled paper to encourage a paperless environment.
We dispose of e-waste responsibly, power down our laptops at the end of the day and have installed LED lighting.
We only use environmentally friendly cleaning products and practice being waterwise.
We donate unwanted items rather than terminating them.
All food is stored in reusable containers.
We are always planning ways to better improve our journey to net zero. Here's a sneak peak into the changes to come at Incognitus.
To be replaced with clearly signed station coloured office bins lined with durable eco-friendly bags, to suit the appropriate termination.
Staff to be provided a coffee keep cup (reusable cup) to purchase coffees with on the go.
Install light timer switches to ensure lights do not stay on in areas where light is not needed all the time.
Eliminating hot water in bathrooms.
Incentives for modelling sustainable behaviours for people in the office.
Earth hour is more than once a year – we're aiming to have an earth hour once a week for 1 hour.
Company Uniforms to be made from recycled polyester.
Shifting gears to hybrid or electric company vehicles.
