Incognitus is currently seeking casual roustabout general labouring staff in multiple roles with availability from mid-February to mid-May with a primary focus between the 6^th of April – 17th of April 2023. We have exciting positions available to work within the prestigious Sydney Showground in Sydney as part of the events team.

The Royal Easter Show is an annual show held in Sydney which comprises an agricultural show, an amusement park and a fair, and it combines the elements of each, showcasing the judging of livestock and produce. The event is run by the Royal Agricultural Society of New South Wales and was first held in 1823.

Reporting to the Venue or Event Manager a successful application will meet the following minimum requirements:

• Must be able to work around livestock and agricultural areas
• Your responsibilities will include general cleaning of designated areas, moving and lifting heavy equipment etc.
• Must be able to work flexible shifts and weekends if requested
• Must be available for the entire duration of the event
• Reliability – Must be able to work as part of a group or individually
• A knowledge of cleaning and hygiene related services
• Good communication skills
• Friendly and positive with a ‘can do’ attitude
• Good command of English language and written skills
• Previous event and/or venue cleaning experience is desirable
• Experience with working on farms and rural areas desirable but not mandatory
